The Social Media and Marketing Intern will possess an interest in social media content creation and a passion for building a more inclusive society. They will be self-motivated, creative, and enjoy working both collaboratively and independently. They will be organized, detail-oriented, a good communicator and time manager, and enjoy planning ahead. This position will work approximately 15-20 hours a week from July through December. Some flexibility around the hours per week and start/end dates of the position are possible before the start of the Internship, to be determined in discussion between the Intern and Supervisor during the interview process.
Requirements: Social media skills (ideally with experience using Instagram and TikTok) Marketing skills and knowledge of marketing strategies (specific knowledge about social enterprises is a plus, but not required) Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to strategize and plan ahead Driven, inspired, collaborative, and positive Passionate about social justice and community inclusion Not required, but appreciated: Experience with search engine optimization; photography skills; website management
