Explore strategies for effectively and accessibly addressing contexts and concepts in public art. Drawing on historical examples and looking toward potential futures, we will focus on how public art can shape our shared spaces and collective narratives. We will consider approaches for designing through the lens of the site and the histories, narratives, and conceptual themes the site may hold. This session explores artists' methods and approaches to creating meaningful, contextually rich artworks.
